| REFRIGERATION
From industrial agricultural to winery cooling is cared for. Various computer packages assist in the design and analyses to be done. As a major consumer in energy costs, it is of importance to design and practically make use of available technology to enhance the benefit thereof. Both, correct selected equipment for a particular application and electronic sensing / management is a major part of cost savings. Correct designs can assist in accelerated return on capital investment faster and more consistently, either by means of an improved quality product or energy cost savings or by both. Heat flow analyzes are performed in cellar cooling in all categories and designs can be done on sumps, water spreaders, pumping stations, water pipe flow networks, mash coolers and juice coolers together with tank cooling types that include film, dimple, jacket, internal plates and total refrigeration required. LRC have ventured into Micro Ice or commonly known as Flow Ice. It is well known and used in Europe for the advantages it delivers but not so well known locally. Large savings can be achieved by lower energy inputs, piping and pump sizes, while having the benefit of a cooling medium at -2°C with latent energy capacity in the ice particles. LRC supports the Montreal Protocol 2013/2015 for saving the Ozone Layer. |
